Update regarding COVID-19 (Coronavirus)

The health and safety of the Bay Psychiatric Associates’ family of patients, healthcare providers and staff is our highest priority. COVID-19 has launched our community into unchartered waters and we would like to let you know how we are facing this unprecedented situation. Our intention is to continue to provide all of the services we are able to while also doing what we can to reduce the transmission of the virus. We recognize that many of our patients need regular on-going care, and we are here for you. We also recognize that this crisis can be distressing on many levels and would like to help you deal with it.

We have made the decision to shift most if not all of our outpatient visits to telepsychiatry sessions, using the secure and private platform doxy.me. For those undergoing Ketamine/Spravato or TMS therapy, we are having discussions on an individual basis about how best to proceed with ongoing treatment, including the possibility of postponing sessions. We are continuing to evaluate new patients for any of our services and providing those services where we can. We encourage each of you to reach out to us with any questions or concerns and to let us know how we can help. You can do so by calling 510-843-2220.

For those who are coming into our offices or to a hospital, we ask that you adhere to the CDC guidelines to reduce transmission:  https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/prepare/prevention.html

Thank you for your understanding during these difficult times. We will continue to keep you updated with any changes to our service. Together we can navigate these troubled waters.

As a reminder, if you are in need of emergency help please call 911. Someone is always available to help.
